CELERA family

Silver Winner of 2017 Vision Systems Design's Innovator Awards!

CELERA CMOS dual-USB3 camera family provides unrivaled speed, extreme flexibility and quick system integration. Its double USB3 interface, ultra-fast acquisition rate, extremely reduced dimensions and rugged design make CELERA cameras suitable for the most demanding applications: automated optical inspection, high performance sorting systems, industrial metrology, microscopy, medical diagnostics and machine vision.

CELERA cameras are powered directly by the USB3 bus eliminating the need for external power adapters. USB3 provides the most cost effective and widespread interface, pushing speed performances at the top.

CELERA cameras provide powerful on-line user-controlled image processing: 8 AOI, independent LUTs, gamma correction, white balance, brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation and hue. Its control sequencing mechanism allows up to 64 different video settings to be applied to a sequence of subsequent frames.

An easy-to-use set of software API is available which allows developers to quickly produce fast and well readable code on Windows (VC++/C#/VB.Net) and Linux (C++).

CELERA accessories available upon request:

  • F-mount adapter
  • shielded I/O cable
  • C-mount adapter is always supplied but can be removed easily

CELERA series is fully compatible with Cognex VisionPro and other major Machine Vision software for industrial application.

Features

firewireDual-USB3 interface

Twice the bandwidth with double USB3 interface, supporting the maximum frame rate of both CMV4000 and CMV2000 image sensors.

sony ccdFast global-shutter CMOS technology

AMS/CMOSIS CMV series and SONY Pregius®* CMOS sensors, featuring 12 bit A/D converter, allow a framerate up to 340 fps even at full resolution.

tinyAdvanced Sequencer

CELERA features our Advanced Sequencer option, allowing up to 64 different video settings to be cycled to a succession of subsequent frames. The user will be able to move the ROI in the field of view, controlling different light sources and changing acquisition parameters for each frame in order to perform multiple and complex inspections in a single target passage.

lutsTriple Programmable LUTs

Independent LUTs (one for each color) allow easy color thresholding, filtering and calibration for color-criticai applications.

smart dataSmart Data

Embedded timestamp, trigger counters, encoder position, latched input status and input change detection allow perfect image-to- real world pairing.

ioVersatile I/O

With 2 inputs, 2 outputs and 1 I/O, CELERA series offers unprecedented flexibility for interfacing to outer world signals: direct encoder readout and strobed lightening have never been so easy.

triggerAdvanced triggering

With CELERA series, user can choose among a long list of triggering mechanisms. Acquisition can be driven by 1/0 levels, edges and encoder position. Furthermore, the frequency of triggering signals can be internally converted to salve even the most challenging problems.
