NECTA
series

Next-generation cameras
NECTA X is the latest generation of CMOS line scan cameras, featuring a USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps interface to set a new standard in speed, throughput, and system integration for advanced machine vision applications.
By delivering a significant leap over its predecessor, USB 3.1 Gen 2 delivers up to 10 Gbps of sustained bandwidth (9.6 Gbps of usable bandwidth) over a single USB Type-C connection. This performance boost directly benefits machine vision systems by enabling higher frame rates, reducing latency for real-time processing, and supporting demanding high-resolution configurations.
Built for maximum integration flexibility
Built on a new architecture designed to fully exploit next-generation image sensors, the series features single- and dual-line ams OSRAM Dragster CMOS sensors.
To match specific integration needs, the NECTA X is offered in two distinct mechanical formats:
- Compact Format: optimized for space-constrained applications, this version supports high-performance 4K and 8K sensors. It features an F-mount adapter, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard industrial lenses—ideal where compactness and speed are essential.
- Large Format: designed for applications requiring larger optics and maximum precision, this format supports 8K and 16K line sensors. It includes an M72 threaded mount to ensure precise alignment and mechanical stability even under demanding industrial conditions.
Versatile I/O
NECTA X provides a versatile I/O interface to control external devices such as strobe lights and encoders. It features 2 input lines with a direct encoder interface, 2 output lines, and 1 bidirectional I/O (supporting RS422, RS644 LVDS, LVTTL). The multipurpose I/O connector provides user I/O, line/frame triggering, and a direct encoder interface.
Driver and Software
NECTA X is GenICam GenTL compliant and provided with a comprehensive Software Development Kit for Windows and Linux. It supports all major programming languages, including Python, C#, VB, and C++ within Visual Studio or Qt environments.
Our SDK is fully compatible with Cognex VisionPro, MVTec HALCON, NI LabVIEW, and other leading machine vision software for industrial applications. It also supports embedded computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Nano, Jetson Orin, and Raspberry Pi.
