Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative intern to join our team and work on a computer vision application. The intern will have the opportunity to develop a project that can be presented as an idea or a thesis, promoting their academic success and enriching their technological expertise.

The intern will propose and develop a computer vision application. This could range from image segmentation, object detection and recognition, to more advanced applications like autonomous navigation or augmented reality. Alkeria will supply all necessary materials, including cameras, and free access to our software tools. The intern will receive guidance from our experienced team members who have a wealth of knowledge in computer vision and machine learning. The intern will work closely with our team and potentially collaborate with university faculty to ensure the project meets academic standards.

Intern Responsibilities

  • develop a detailed project proposal outlining the application idea or thesis
  • conduct research and review existing literature to support the project
  • implement the project using appropriate computer vision techniques and tools
  • test and validate the application, ensuring it meets predefined objectives
  • document the project process and results for presentation and potential publication

Qualifications

  • currently enrolled in a university program related to computer science, engineering or a related field
  • strong interest and foundational knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
  • proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar
  • excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude
