NECTA X is Alkeria’s next-generation family of CMOS line scan cameras, designed around a high-performance USB 3.1 Gen2 interface to set a new standard in speed, throughput, and system integration for advanced machine vision applications.
Delivering up to 10 Gbps of sustained bandwidth over a single USB-C connection, NECTA X introduces a new level of performance, enables low-latency and allows seamless integration into high-performance inspection workflows, maximizing both productivity and operational efficiency.

Built for maximum integration flexibility

The new architecture of NECTA X is designed to better exploit the capabilities of the latest generation of image sensors, including both high-performance area sensors and high-resolution linear sensors up to 8k and 16k. By reducing latency and improving data flow stability, NECTA X enables faster decision-making and allows multiple inspections of the same object within a single workflow, supporting more complex quality control strategies without sacrificing throughput.

NECTA X is available in two mechanical formats, each optimized for different sensor resolutions and integration requirements.

The compact version, measuring 56 × 56 × 19 mm, is ideal for space-constrained environments and supports high-performance 4k sensors. It features an F-mount lens adapter, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard industrial lenses, making it perfect for applications where compactness and speed are essential.

For applications that require larger optics and the highest sensor resolutions, NECTA X is also offered in a larger format measuring 78 × 78 × 25 mm. This version supports 8k and 16k line sensors and incorporates an M72 threaded lens adapter, allowing the integration of lenses specifically designed for high-resolution imaging. Its robust mechanical design guarantees precise alignment and stability even in demanding industrial environments.

Versatile I/O

NECTA X provides a versatile I/O interface to control external devices such as strobe lights, encoders, etc., 2 input lines with a direct encoder interface, 2 output lines, and 1 bidirectional input/output (RS422, RS644 LVDS, LVTTL). Its multipurpose I/O connector provides user I/O, line/frame triggering, and a direct encoder interface.

Driver and Software

NECTA X is GenICam GenTL compliant and comes with a comprehensive SDK for Windows and Linux, supporting all major programming languages such as Python, C#, VB, and C++ in the Visual Studio or QT environments.
Our Software Development Kit, provided with NECTA X cameras, is fully compatible with Cognex VisionPro, MVTech Halcon, NI LabView, and other major machine vision software for industrial applications. It can also be used with embedded computing platforms such as Jetson Nano, Jetson Orin, and Raspberry.
